Around 60 km to the north of Kuta where there can find the serenity and nuasa of the true Balinese village. There can visit Antonio Blanco Museum here and many other artists.

Tampak Siring & Tirta Empul

To the north of Ubud, the Presidential Palace of Bung Karno's legacy Tampak Siring though we can not enter into it unless you are a State guest. Next to this palace there is Pura Tirta Empul where there are some water fountains believed to have healing properties.

Elephant Cave

From Tirta Empul to North arena will find relics of Buddhism Buddhist spots found in 1932 in the Dutch times ..

Ubud

Kintamani, Mount Batur, Lake Batur, and Truyan

From Goa Gajah continues north towards Singaraja you will pass Kintamani a high plateau with beautiful view of Mount Batur which is still active on the left and Lake Batur on the right. If you are a full of energy and adventurous spirit can tracking climb to Mount Batur witnessed the crater of what mountain is still active. You can go down to see the flow of lava that has cooled off from this volcanic eruption about 50 years ago, then you can feel the cold water of Lake Batur. If you have enough time to cross this lake to a place called Trunyan. This village is like in Toraja in Celebes where the corpses of the dead are not buried but only placed on the ground. I have never been there but on the other hand it must be my first agenda to visit Trunyan.

I suggest if you want to enjoy the scenery of the mountain / lake batur should arrive during the day when 'Lunchtime' and go straight into restaurant there to avoid 'forced vendors' there ... and the merchant will not dare you to offer up to Restaurants .. usually there is a buffet restaurant where there is a buffet concept which provides fast food that is very varied and we live take and eat  .. Cost eats and drink as much as 50.000 rupiah around US$5 depending on the location that overlooks the beautiful scenery

Same with Ulu watu, here too many old siblings aka monkeys are benign. It is advisable to come to Sangeh in the morning because quite a lot of tourists, if the afternoon is somewhat "spooky" because the forest is already darkening and we are even a spectacle of the monkeys
